Composed entirely of archive material, the film amalgamates the stories of many different soldiers who fought in various conflicts since WW2 into the story of THE SOLDIER. Decade after decade, the soldier goes to war to fight for freedom and democracy and comes home broken by the oppression and destruction he has caused.
